Prerequisites

Everyone from 18 years old. The Zone01 Oujda digital training is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older. No prior programming experience or academic qualifications are required to apply. Diversity and inclusion are key elements of Zone01's mission.

Step 1: consists of 2 online cognitive games (90 minutes in total). If you pass, you will be invited to participate to the “Piscine“ selection. No coding knowledge is required.

Step 2: the “Piscine“ selection – 4 intensive weeks to discover code and test your motivation. If you are selected, you will be able to join Zone01 Oujda.

Please note: The “Piscine“ is an Intensive Screening Process to test your ability to learn quickly, perform intensive work, and collaborate with other people.

Our online cognitive game consists of a short memory game, followed by a longer logic game, testing your computational thinking. Memorization, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills are excellent indicators of your potential to become a creative digital talent!

You don’t need to have any IT skills or experience to complete the games.

The 4-week “Piscines” takes place on-site at Zone01 Oujda campus.

The concept is to: detect, train, and deploy talents. during the training phase, we provide you with all the resources and support you need to become a top-tier full-stack developer. During the deployment phase, the talent agency hires you to become a collaborator.

During the first 18 months, you will learn several programming languages. By carrying out more than 60 projects, you will learn how to code in JavaScript, Go, and Rust, as well as C, C++, Ruby-on-Rails, PHP, and Python. You will be able to code in any programming environment. Learners are divided into groups so that they can work as teams on projects lasting 1 to 12 weeks each. After the first 18 months, the learner chooses a job preparation branch among several, to complete during the part-time period. The level reflects the progression and skills of each learner.

The contract includes a commitment period of 5 years divided as follows:

 1. From the 1st to the 30th month (included): apprentice phase
  a. From the 1st to the 18th month (included): full-time training phase on the campus. The learner has to reach level 50 to qualify for the next phase.
  b. From the 19th to the 30th month (included): part-time period with a mix of job preparation learning and working for the 01Talent Maroc talent agency. During that time, each talent receives a salary as an apprentice. The learner has to reach level 60 to go to the next phase.

 2. From the 31st to the 60th month: employment phase with the 01Talent Maroc talent agency.

No tuition! The training provided by Zone01 Oujda is tuition-free. No fees for registration, tuition, or exams are required throughout the course.

Zone01 is an intensive program based on the principle of peer learning. Therefore, you will need to make sure that, during group work-study, you can be present at the same time as your co-learners.

To offer the greatest flexibility to everyone, the campus is open 24/7, and access is managed so that you can come and go without time constraints. The program is entirely self-paced.

The training is based on a highly collaborative and community-oriented pedagogical approach. About 80% of the projects in the program are done in groups and are easier and faster to carry out when co-learners are together in the same room. The Zone01 Oujda campus is accessible 24/7, to allow everyone to work flexibly at their convenience.

On-campus attendance during training is strongly advised, as it is immensely important to be in an environment where you learn and pass on to other members of the community. Working and learning together is very motivating and your progress will be much faster. Furthermore, plenty of social activities and conferences are organized on campus to enrich your learning experience.

No registration or tuition fees are required. Nonetheless, we do understand that the costs of transport, food, and/or accommodation can limit one’s possibilities to follow the course. Hence, only for learners who are interested in it, we work with banking partners to set up student loans of 1 500 Dhs or 2 000 Dhs per month for 20 months. The repayment starts only once you start working part-time. The repayment period will last for 30 months, at the same time you are employed by the Talent Agency. If you desire, you can proceed to an early repayment. As soon as the exact details for the student loan are confirmed, we’ll communicate about this.

Our no-tuition education model is made possible by our partners, who work with us to train and recruit the best digital talents. In order to receive complete training in programming and guaranteed prospects for excellent jobs, it is essential to complete the course.

We understand that failure to complete your training can occur. We would like to mention that the talent contract that commits us will entail financial obligations in case of early drop out (knowing that it can cater for cases of Force Majeure)

The first main training program will start in early spring 2024.

So far, at the end of your training, there isn’t a State/Ministry-recognized diploma or certificate because this educational model does not correspond to any traditional definition. This status is subject to change in the future.

However, this is not a problem in the digital sector, as companies are interested in what you can do, who you are, and how you work. Moreover, at the end of the training, you will have a guaranteed job, which allows you to gain additional professional experience. The recognition of 01Talent pedagogy and process by the job market is much better than any diploma or certificate.

After learning to acquire the necessary skills to become a full-stack developer, you are guaranteed full-time employment at 01Talent Maroc Talent Agency. This means that you’ll be assigned to projects for our clients and partners but you’ll remain 01Talent Maroc’s employee. You’re about to start working once you reach level 50 in the curriculum (required in the 18th month). From the 19th month to the 30th month, you’ll be part-time working and part-time learning until you finish the job preparation branch you chose. From the 31st month (level 60 required), you’ll be working full-time. Depending on the project, you may work remotely or at the client’s/partner's location.

Zone01 Talent Agency guarantees a minimum salary:
 - During the 1-year part-time (19th to 30th month, level 50 is required), the minimum guaranteed reference salary is: 15 000 Dhs per month (full-time) meaning an actual 7 500 Dhs/month (since you will be part-time during that period)
 - During the 2.5-year employment phase (31st to 60th month, level 60 is required), the starting guaranteed salary is 20 000 Dhs/month. It will evolve according to the talent’s performance and responsibilities.

If you elect to drop out from the Talent Agency before the end of the agreed-upon work duration, you'll have to fulfill the remaining financial obligations associated with your training program, as stated in the talent contract.

The training provides you with comprehensive knowledge of all programming fields, as well as a 12-month professional experience acquired while working on concrete projects during your job preparation. Here are some job titles you can pursue once you have completed your training:

We are in discussions with our partners to set up a shuttle system to provide transportation from the city center to the Campus du Savoir every hour. We’ll let you know as soon as things become official.

Today, there is no accommodation or university halls of residence. But we are working hard with our partners to find a solution for accommodation. Nevertheless, there are plenty of reasonably priced apartment rentals in Oujda and the surrounding area.

So far: Mainly accommodation, catering, and transport. Our goal is to reduce these costs as soon as possible and we’ll communicate with you when there are updates.
